Orange County, CA (July 28, 2020) — With just under 100 days to the election, Women for American Values and Ethics Political Action Committee (WAVE PAC) is announcing our newest round of local endorsed candidates running for Mayor, City Council, and School Board.

“We are proud to support these capable and progressive Orange County leaders dedicated to improving the lives of all Orange County residents,” said WAVE Endorsement Committee Chair Beth Daley Ullem.

“Each of these races is an opportunity to advance progressive values in Orange County” declared Joanna Weiss, WAVE’s Founder and President. “It is so important to urge voters to focus on candidates who can effect real change on the local level.”

WAVE is a non-partisan political action committee that aims to advance political candidates, organizations and policies that support progressive American values and ethics. In order to qualify for endorsement, candidates must have a proven track record of upholding the rights of immigrants, women, and the LGBTQ community; supporting climate change science and environmental protections; and, opposing policies that weaken our healthcare laws, gun safety and freedom of the press. After an extensive review process undertaken by WAVE’s endorsement committee, we are proud to announce our support of the following candidates:
