California Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis

When Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis was sworn into office in 2019, she became the first woman elected to the role. As Lieutenant Governor, Eleni has a record of getting things done. She has helped Californians by making college more accessible to working families, building more affordable student housing, fighting tuition increases, and making it easier to transfer to a 4-year university from a community college. She has been a proud leader in California’s fight against climate change and has showcased California’s progress and leadership on a global level. Eleni is a champion for women and gender equality, fighting for laws to protect women from sexual assault and expanding access to reproductive choice in California.

David Hogg

He is a leader in the fight to end gun violence and Co-Founder of March for Our Lives, an organization that has helped lead one of the largest youth movements in our country. He is also the Founder of Leaders We Deserve, a PAC dedicated to electing young progressive candidates around the country. David rose to prominence during the 2018 United States gun violence protests as a student survivor of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, helping lead several high-profile protests, marches, and boycotts.

Cheyenne Hunt

She is a Gen Z social media influencer and activist. She ran for Congress in 2023 for the 45th congressional district in California. Cheyenne grew up in a rural and low income community and witnessed the devastating impact of limited economic opportunities. She was raised by two generations of single mothers; her grandmother being a Syrian Immigrant. She is driven to see her voice and platform fight for the values of Gen Z and for all of those who do not have their voice represented.

Sasha Renee Perez

She is Vice Mayor of the City of Alhambra and a candidate for State Senate. She is a lifelong Democrat, educator, and civil rights advocate who champions equitable access to higher education and lifting up California working families. She is deeply committed to advocating for policies that create social, racial, and economic justice.

Jessica Craven

She is a mom, veteran activist, and the author of daily actions email “Chop Wood, Carry Water.” She’s also the creator of both “Activism 101” and “Democracy 101,” free workshops that have activated and engaged thousands of new-to-politics Americans. Jessica’s also a TikTok creator who explains civics and activism in easy-to-understand one-minute videos. She’s committed to teaching all Americans how to use their voices to strengthen and shape our democracy.
