The “Write” for Democracy

The Insurrection of January 6, 2021 was a tragic awakening to all Americans that we can’t take our Democracy for granted. Unite with us as we mark this divisive event with The “Write” for Democracy, a massive postcard writing event held locally in Newport Beach. Stop by anytime between 12-4pm as we reaffirm our commitment to progressive, policy driven politics both locally and nationally. Flex your patriotic muscle by writing Field Team 6 Voter Registration postcards with us, or just pick up a pack to do at home. In order to keep our activists as safe and healthy as possible, there is a drive through option. You can just drive up and we will come out with postcards, directions, addresses, and scripts to put in your car for contactless delivery. Postcards do not need to be mailed until 3/1/22. The “Write” for Democracy will be serving up optimism, determination, powerful activism, as well as refreshments! Please join us!

This event requires all participants to be vaccinated and everyone must wear a mask. We want everyone to stay healthy as we fight to reflip to blue in 2022!

WAVE is closely monitoring the rise in Omicron cases county wide. We will carefully follow all CDC recommendations.
